San Francisco 49ers star pass receiver Deebo Samuel’s standing for the NFC Championship continues to be up in the air, as he takes care of a shoulder injury. Samuel endured the injury throughout the group’s 24-21 Divisional Round gain the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. He was initially ruled doubtful to return and was at some point reduced to out.

San Francisco still considers him “50-50” to dress for Sunday’s NFC title video game with the Lions, per ESPN, after Samuel went through extra screening for his shoulder. Examinations suggested Samuel did not endure a crack, as he did previously in 2023, according to NFL Media, and the group thinks “this is not a significant injury,” with Samuel informing coworkers “he assumes he will certainly be alright.”

Samuel dropped throughout the 2nd drive and entered into the storage locker space for assessment. After halftime, he ran out his attire and was formally out for the rest of the video game.

The pass receiver currently missed out on video games this period because of a hairline crack to the exact same shoulder. Head trainer Kyle Shanahan kept in mind that Saturday’s injury resembled the one he endured previously this year.

Shanahan did not have an upgrade on Samuel’s standing after the video game. When asked regarding the intensity of the injury, Shanahan stated, “I do not understand. We’ll see tomorrow.”

Samuel was reviewed for a head injury after an appealed the Niners’ initial drive and was removed to return. Prior to he was sidelined, Samuel had 2 catches for 24 backyards.

This period, the 28-year-old had 60 catches for 892 backyards in 15 video games.
